Emory Alliance Credit Union provides “App based”, “Web based”, “Text Banking”, and “Text Alerts” services, collectively referred to as “Mobile Banking Services”. These services are provided free of charge by Emory Alliance Credit Union as a courtesy to our customers
The “App based” and “Web based” services will require at two text messages (SMS) as part of the enrollment process. The “Text Banking” and “Text Alerts” services will generate ongoing incoming and outgoing text messages (SMS). The volume of messages sent and/or received will vary greatly depending on your usage, or in the case of the “Text Alerts” service, the number and frequency of alerts you have established. Emory Alliance Credit Union highly recommends that you subscribe to a “text message plan” though your mobile carrier. Substantial per-text message/SMS fees may be charged in the absence of a “text message plan” or in the event that you exceed your “text message plan’s” monthly allotment.
In addition to text messages (SMS), both the “App based” and “Web based” services will generate mobile data usage. The amount of data usage will vary greatly depending on the frequency and duration that either of these services is used. Emory Alliance Credit Union highly recommends that you subscribe to a “data plan” though your mobile carrier if you elect to utilize either the “App based” or “Web based” services. Substantial data-usage fees may be charged in the absence of a “data plan” or in the event that you exceed your “data plan’s” monthly allotment.
It is your responsibility to be aware of the details of your account with your mobile carrier, including what will result in a fee being charged. The terminology used above may vary from carrier to carrier. “International roaming” may increase these fees. If you have any question whether the usage of any Emory Alliance Credit Union Mobile Services will result in a charge or increase in/on your phone bill, please contact your mobile carrier.
Emory Alliance Credit Union specifically disclaims any and all liability for any charges and/or “overage fees” charged by your mobile carrier as a result of your usage of our Mobile Banking Services. IN NO EVENT SHALL EMORY ALLIANCE CREDIT UNION BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES, PENALTIES, TAXES, OVERAGES, OR ANY OTHER FEE IMPOSED BY YOUR MOBILE CARRIER AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF OUR MOBILE BANKING SERVICES.Go to main navigation
