Emory Alliance CU is committed to helping students and parents to prepare for their biggest challenge, obtaining financial aid for education.   We participate in three federally-insured student loan programs, each designed to help meet your unique situation. 

• Stafford Loans.  Subsidized and unsubsidized loans from the federal government.

• PLUS Loans.  For parents whose dependent is enrolled as a student at least half-time in an eligible institution.  PLUS Loans cover the cost of  attendance minus other financial aid.

• Consolidation Loans.  Combine multiple student loans into one single loan with one monthly payment and a low fixed interest rate.

• Student Services.  Emory Alliance CU offers a variety of products and services especially designed to help every student make a smooth transition to the world of higher education and financial responsibility.

Emory Alliance CU is affiliated with Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, Inc.  They originate and service all of our Stafford, PLUS, and Consolidation Loans.  If you currently have a loan with Great Lakes, you can securely access your account information with IBIS (Internet Borrower Inquiry Service),24-hours a day, 7-days a week.  To use this service, simply go to www.mygreatlakes.com and register.
